About Us:
Paella is a traditional Spanish rice dish that originated in its modern form in the mid-19th century in Valencia on the east coast of Spain. Many years ago our ancestors brought the authentic recipe and precise cooking process to the Caribbean Island of Puerto Rico and created a fusion of of the technique fom Spain combined with the authentic Puerto Rican "Criollo" (pronounced krioyo) flavor. My father, Angel, was handed this recipe and technique, which he further perfected, and eventually brought to the United States in the early 1980's. After many lessons from my father, and assisting him preparing many of his over 100 paella dishes, and combined with endless hours perfecting the art of preparing and cooking this masterpiece, Personal Chef's Idan and Heather have finally made it our own. Rain, Snow, and even Tropical Storms can't stop this dynamic duo from capturing the essence of this Spanish Criollo creation. After countless requests, Chef's Idan & Heather are finally taking this authentic Spanish cuisine to the road to add a little Puerto Rican spice to your next event. You can now enjoy watching Chef Idan & Family make this amazing creation right before your eyes in the comfort of your home or place of business. This is a passionate hobby of ours and we take pride in providing an exceptional and unforgettable experience. Rather than serve up the traditional catering food, treat your guests to something more unique and special our melt in the mouth gourmet Paellas. We cook everything on site using only the freshest ingredients and the 2-3 hours of slow cooking time ensures not only the best taste but the most alluring aroma¢s to fill your guests with anticipation before the meal. So get your cameras ready, this is not only a sensational tasting dish, it's also visually beautiful. We have made our amazing Paella for all to enjoy at many different types of gatherings and each Paella serves approximately 25-50 people. Whatever size of party you want, we take great pride in our ability to provide first-rate service and delicious food at a price that will fit your budget. We require a 50% deposit in advance to hold the date and then the remaining 50% will be paid directly to the Chef on the day of the event. Generally, we provide just the food or upon request at an additional fee we can also provide plates, napkins and cutlery. The choice is yours. Just be sure to call us soon to reserve your special date.
Legendary Paella - A mouthwatering combination of fresh seafood (calamari, peeled and devained shrimp, bay scallops, fish, mussels) boneless chicken and chorizo; elegantly prepared with rice and vegetables mixed with our family secret combination of seasonings; and for an additional fee add Fresh lobster chunks or lobster tails.
